Domain Lead – Design & UX / Customer platforms
Vakituinen työsuhde
Shape the future of digital customer experiences! As Domain Lead for Design & UX, you lead the strategy for visual identity and user experience across our digital platforms for B2B customers. You combine deep UX expertise with creative graphic design and business acumen to deliver a cohesive, engaging, and conversion‑driven digital journey. The role means you will build and lead a cross‑functional team, drive innovation, and ensure that design decisions strengthen both the brand and the business. With us, you’ll have the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally. We value your unique strengths and experiences, and together we make a difference every day. Together, we build the future with IT.
Your Role
You own the design and UX strategy for all digital touchpoints within our digital B2B platforms, ensuring a consistent, user‑centred, and visually strong experience that drives business value and improves the customer journey. You set the shared architecture for a unified and intelligent customer experience (design systems, pattern libraries, measurement standards, and experimentation frameworks) that is operationalised locally—close to customer needs and the business.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Chief Digital Officer and become a key member of the core team driving development forward. Together with management and other experts, you will help shape the customer experience of the future. The role initially has no direct reports, but people leadership may be added over time. We value clear leadership towards both internal and external stakeholders and partners, where you lead and influence both directly and indirectly.
Responsibilities
- Strategy & vision: Define and own the design and UX strategy across platforms and markets.
- Leadership & coordination: Inspire cross‑functional resources such as designers, UX specialists, and creatives; mobilise resources from other parts of the organisation.
- Business orientation: Ensure design decisions are linked to business goals and KPIs (conversion, customer satisfaction, retention).
- Creative development: Raise the bar in visual design, typography, colour, and interaction design; drive innovation within UX.
- Stakeholder management: Collaborate with local markets to translate the shared architecture into relevant, country‑specific experiences.
- Insights & measurability: Establish a shared framework for data, metrics, and experimentation that enables comparability between countries and a rapid hypothesis‑to‑learning cycle (CRO, A/B testing, qualitative insights).
Mandate & Authorities
- Full responsibility for the design and UX strategy within our digital B2B platforms.
- Ensure compliance with shared design and accessibility standards, as well as operational design reviews for major initiatives.
- Mandate to reallocate design resources across the organisation.
- Budget responsibility for design initiatives.
Who are you?
You have solid experience mapping and optimising user journeys, working with interaction design, and conducting usability tests. Your competence in graphic design is strong, with the ability to create powerful visual expressions, build brand, and develop digital aesthetics. You have clear business acumen and can link design decisions to measurable business outcomes. With experience leading creative teams in matrix organisations, you’ve developed an inclusive and inspiring leadership style. In addition, you have broad technical understanding and are accustomed to working with design tools, prototyping, and interfaces with development, such as HTML/CSS and design systems.
Nice to have
- Experience introducing and managing design systems across multiple products/markets.
- Documented ability to drive data‑driven improvement (A/B testing, experimentation, CRO).
- Experience scaling UX organisations in larger B2B environments.
- Used to collaborating with product, development/engineering, and marketing to achieve shared KPIs.
