Your role
As a Solutions Architect at Atea Managed Services you will work as a technical key player in various implementation and/or upgrade projects related to the toolstack used by Atea Managed Services to serve customers across all Nordic countries. You participate in projects and PoC’s, to design and execute new or existing technologies, with the purpose to make us even more efficient as well as enabling new values for our customers.
By analyzing our strategy and current infrastructure, you will execute successful implementations together with colleagues across Nordics & Baltics, acting as the lead tech for your area. After a successful project, you participate in the handover to steady-state operations. You are also an important source for our Enterprise Architects, where you support them shaping our strategies, as well as our LLD team being responsible for low-level designs.
You will be part of the Enterprise Architecture & Deployment team with skilled people in several technical areas and will be a key person in our overall architectural evolvement. We work primarily online with minimal travel. This role is located in Denmark (Ballerup, Aarhus), Finland (Vantaa), Norway (Drammen) or Sweden (Stockholm, Göteborg, Malmö).
Who are you?
Your personal characteristics are crucial to succeed in the role and to thrive at Atea. We believe you have a broad generic knowledge in technology, with several years of experience in the area of Microsoft and Linux Infrastructure, VMware, Storage or Backup. You are not afraid of unknown variables and find it energizing to invent new solutions using technologies you have not used before, to fulfill our business needs. You are experienced in writing code and automating the technologies you use, and you use your results-oriented mindset to constantly find solutions that improves us within your area of expertise and our overall business. And you like working in an environment where no day is like another.
To succeed in the role as Solutions Architect we believe you have the following skills:
- A high interest in various types of technology and its value for business
- At least five years of experience in any of the following technologies: Microsoft and Linux Infrastructure, VMware, Storage, Backup
- Experience in automating operational tasks
- Translate high level plans into technology setups
- A team player and enjoy working for a common goal
- Committed to continuously improving and learning
- Fluent in English
Skills not mandatory, but desirable, are:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
- Experience from the Service Provider business
